PROJECT SPECIALITIES

In this age of electronic development there is improvement in every field. The number of project on display board has increased, but in this project a halogen lamp has bean used which throw the light on the display board and board shines without giving any light.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING

This project has been developed and tested O.K. in our TV Engineers Technical Lab.  The components and PCB used in the projects published in our books are available for sale at resonable price.

This project is a multipurpose project in the electrical field. To produce the sharp light halogen lamp need 12 volts from the main supply. Now a days a transformer is used with the halogen lamp which is not practical and it gets hot and there are core losses. There is always danger of fire because there is always inflammable material like roof and wooden furniture inside the shop. The present project is a electronic project which is very light and there is no electrical losses. It remains cool and its life is longer then the project having the transformer. With the help of this project you get 12V from the mains. By using this project the fluctuations and flickering in supply is avoided and electricity comsumtion is reduced. First of all through a bridge rectifier mains AC of 220V is changed in to DC. A varick of 275/14 is used in the input of AC supply. It keeps the voltage stable. DC voltage is given to a BUT11 transister which acts a oscillator. Oscillator is a type of amplifier whose a part of output is again fed into input. This make amplifier unstable and it oscillates. Like this it changes DC in to AC voltage in this project. In the base of both transister a series resistance has bean connected along with oscillator coils. These oscillator coils are wound over a Torrodial Core and out of this one coil is taken for output and AC voltage is obtained from this. The halogen lamp is connected with this. A diac is also used which is a kind of diode which allows current to pass in any direction.

PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-

1 Take care of base emitter and collector of the transister while soldering it.

2 While soldering take care of the polarity of the diode.

3 Don’t put on the project in case there is short in the transister.
