This project is boon in this electronic age. In this project no chemical has been used for killing insets. Now days many type of insets come  up in the summer and winter seasons. They grow in the kitchen on the food stuff and water tanks. This is very harm full for the health of human being. To repels the mosquitos this project named ultrasonic pest repellent is very use full.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING

This project has been developed and tested O.K. in our TV Engineers Technical Lab.  The components and PCB used in the projects published in our books are available for sale at resonable price.

This project is based on ultrasonic sound wave. Pest and insect can not bear the ultrasonic sound and they run away. Human beings can not hear the ultra sound. There are some high frequency sound which are very troublesome for the insets like mosquitos etc. These insets run away from the ultrasonic sound. The frequency of ultra sound is from 13KHz to 80 KHz. In this circuits IC555 has been used along with two transistors. One oscillator is  of IC555 and other oscillator is consist of BC148B(Q)and transister BC558(Q2). The output of transister oscillator is connected to the pin no 5 of IC555. They output of IC555 is available on pin no 3. From here it is given to the speaker because in this project oscillator is tuned to ultrasonic frequency. The speaker produces ultrasonic wave. It is very troublesome for mosquitos and due to this they run away.

PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-

1 Take special care of base, emitter and collector of the transister while soldering it.

2 Do not solder the IC directly on the PCB, because due to leakage of current from the soldering iron parts get spoiled.

3 Use high quality speaker because in this project high frequency is produced.

4 While soldering diode take care of polarity.

5 Do not put on the project if there is short in the transister.
