PROJECT SPECIALITIES

When you are doing any job in the evening and due to irregular and faulty supply system, the electricity break down occurs at that time then you have to face a lot of difficulties. For this you curse the electricity department.  This project overcomes this problem and a 6 Watt tube gives light even when electricity is not there.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING

This project has been developed and tested O.K. in our TV Engineers Technical Lab.  The components and PCB used in the projects published in our books are available for sale at resonable price.

This project is a multipurpose project.  This project works on a 6V DC supply.  This project is very useful for truck, car and like this other automobile transport system which are having the 6V DC battery.  Normally battery used in a home inverter or in other place can be used in this project.  In this project a 6W small tube has been used in place of load and it consumes very less electricity.  This emergency tube light can work up to 12 volts.  An inverter circuit has been used in this and this job is done by the transister 1061.  This circuit works on the basic principle of single transister and single transformer.  The AC voltages are obtained from the secondary of the transformer, where the 6W tube is connected.  This transformer is a special transformer and in side there are three windings.  Through one primary winding 6V DC supply is given to the collector of the transister and induction winding is connected to the base of the transister.  Bias voltage is given to the base of the transister through this and it works as a feed back.  The oscillations are produced with the help of this winding and a condenser connected with this winding.   The 6W tube connected in the secondary of this transformer gives light.

PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-

* Do not charge the battery in excess because there is no provision to stop the excessive charging.  It lessen the life of battery.

* This circuit is for the load of 20 Watts. Do not connect the 40W tube.

* While connecting transister check its base, emitter and collector with the help of multimeter.

* Take special precaution while connecting diode for its polarity.
