The main attraction of this project is that you can hear your voice in a FM Receiver kept at a distance tuned in a FM Frequency. You can display Transmission from FM Transmitter and make people wonder in school exhibition or any other gathering of people.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING
This project has been developed and tested O.K. in our TV Engineers Technical Lab. The components and PCB used in the projects published in our books are available for sale at resonable price.
It is a new gift of electronic age. Mostly two transisters have been used in this project. Transmitting frequency is FM modulated. You can hear the voice around 96 MHz on a FM Radio receiver having the frequency band of 88MHz to 108MHz. Main attraction is that alignment of this transmitter is not required. The range of transmitter can be increased by increasing the length of antenna wire. By changing the value of 33 PF condenser you can increase or decrease the frequency of transmitter. Transistor BC148 is acting as Mike amplifier and second transistor 2N2369 or 107 is working as oscillator cum modulator. This circuit works on 3Volt. When you speak in the condenser mike of this FM transmitter you will be surprised to see that your family member can hear your voice on a FM radio standing at a distant from you.
PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT :-
- While soldering transistor check base, emmiter and collector with multimeter.
- Use 3Volts battery. Do not use the eliminator.
- Take care of proper polarity of condenser mike while soldering.
