PROJECT SPECIALITIES

The special feature of this project is that you can listen to your own voice in the MW range of any radio receiver. You can exhibit the working of a transmitter in any school or electronic exhibition. Also you can send information to your neighbours.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING

This project has been developed and tested O.K. in our TV Engineers Technical Lab.  The components and PCB used in the projects published in our books are available for sale at resonable price.

This project is a modified version of the project published in our “TESTED OK ELECTRONICS PROJECTS” Vol-1. The earlier one has two demerits [1] The range is very low and [2] It has no tuning facilities. The present one overcomes these two demerits. Its range is approximately 200 meters and it can be tuned. Two transistors have been employed in this project at two different stages. The first transistor BC 148 is employed as audio amplifier while the 2nd one BC147 as an oscillator. The oscillator circuit employes an oscillator coil and a tuning Gang. The signal, available from the speaker is amplified by the audio amplifier and super imposed on the oscillator. First of all, tune your radio to a point where there is no station and hissing sound is comparatively high. Now you will be surprised to note that your voice is heard by your family members sitting at a distance through the radio.

PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-

*For better responce use long teleshopic aeriel and coil of best quality.

*Check polarity of electrolytic capacitor while mounting on PCB otherwise reverse connection may damage it.

*Please use resistance of the exact value as given in the circuit.

*First of all check all the components as per circuit.

*While mounting transistor, you should connect collector , base & emitter properly.

*Clean PCB after SOLDERING, so that the component or print do not short.
