2B-CLAP OPERATED MUSICAL TIMER
You can amuse your kids with the help of this project. The sound of a clap operates this project and the project produces a musical tone for some time after which it automatically becomes OFF.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKINGCLAP

This project works as a magic. With the sound of a clap this project delivers pleasant musical tone and the duration of this music can be adjusted as per your requirement. After a particular / preset duration, the project stops automatically. This is not a magic, rather a gift from electronics. Thus the project is a multipurpose project. You can entertain your children or call your servant sitting at a distance. The project employs the timer IC555. The threshold voltage at pin no. 6 of the IC is connected to supply via a preset and to ground through a capacitor. This pin is also connected to pin no. 4 of the IC which is connected to internal discharge transistor of the IC. The information at trigger pin no. 2 becomes low with the sound of clap while the information of its output pin no. 3 becomes high. The capacitor charges through the voltage received via the preset. As soon as the information assumes low state at pin no. 3, the capacitor starts discharging through the discharge transistor internally connected to pin no. 7. PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-
*First of all check all the components as per circuit.
*Check polarity of condenser mike while mounting.
*Check the polarity [ Anode & Cathode] of Diodes before fitting.
*Check polarity of electrolytic condenser while assembling.
*Use IC base for mounting of IC 555.
*Ensure that the transister BEL 187 connection [C,B &E]
are proper and not altered.
