This project employs the widely used and popular IC TBA 810.  The circuit of the IC is very simple and internal configuration consists of transistors.  It is a low COST IC and as such.

 

This intercom is comparatively cheep and easy to assemble.

 

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING

The project has been developed and successfully tested at TV Engineers Technical Lab.

 

The amplifier unit of this project employs the IC TBA 810.  The speaker used works as microphone also.  The speaker converts the audio signal to electrical signal and feeds the pin No 8 of the IC which is the input pin.  This signal is  amplified by the IC and the amplified signal is fed to the speaker through the capacitor 470mfd/10v.  The speaker converts the electrical audio signal into  sound pin No1 and the IC are the supply pins fed with 9v supply.  The output of the IC controlled through the feed back network across pin No12 and 5.

This project has been developed and successfully tested O.K. at TV Engineers Technical Labs.

 

The project runs on 12v DC. The main component of the project  is a COB(Chip on Board) this type of COB is neither any IC nor bears any number.  This is mounted on PCB and cannot be seperated.

 

This produces the sound of Arti (OM JAI JAGADISH HARE) .  Other components used in the circuit are for the purpose of biasing etc.

 

PRCAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING

1.Check all the parts as per the list.

2.Do not apply excessive heat to COB or do not use soldering iron of higher wattage.

3.Check anode and cathode of diode while connecting
