2B-INFRARED REMOTE CONTROLLER
This project is an important asitrilution of the present electrone age. Using this project you can ON/OFF any load/gadget from a distance. The switch works without reflecting any light,which can be used our toys,TV,fan etc.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND WORKING
The project has been developed and tested O.K at TV Engineers Technical Lab.
In the present age of electronics the use of conventional switches are out dated. More and more remote control switches are used by the gadgets use controlled from a distance. Here we are giving the circuit of such a Remote switch by which you can control the gadgets from a distance. The project is divided into tivo sections Transmitter section and Receiver section. When we press switch S1 of remote transmitter section,the invisible frequency generated by the Infra-red LED spreads to all directions. When the infra red rap strikes the photo Diode of receiver section,the input pulse becomes available to pin No 2 of IC 555 and its output pin No2 of IC CD 4027 which works as a flip-flop. Its output is released through pin
No1 and fed to transistor BC 148 conduct. When the transistor BC 148 starts working the relay connected to its collector comes to ON position. When we press the switch off the remote transmetter again,the input pulse is received by pin No2 of IC 555 in the receiver section and the output at its pin No1 comes to opposite state and the relay works opposite i.e goes back to OFF position. This type of remote switches are widely used now a days.
PRECAUTINS WHILE ASSEMBLING
1.Check all the components as per circuit specification.
2.Be careful about the polarity of the transistors while mounting
3.Avoid short circuit while soldering. Clean the gap between the prints of short
4.Use IC Base for mounting IC.
