2B-MAKE YOURSELF THIS IC BASED SIGN / AD BOARD
You can display this board on your shop, house etc. This board look is very attractive while displayed. You can also use 230V AC bulb instead of LED with little modification of the circuit.
TECHNICAL DESCRIIPTION AND WORKING:-
This project has been developed and successfully tested OK in TV Engineer Technical Lab.
Earlier people used to display their advertised through coloured/multi-coloured board, but this is the day of advanced electronics. Such boards are now all electronics, not only different from the earlier one, but also attractive and decent. The present project is based on IC 555. In this board, for example, a word SONY is being displayed. The LED corresponding to S will glow first, then O When O LED glows, S LED becomes OFF. After O, N …. so on when the last LED becomes off, first LED [S] glows. This cycle continues.
When we give supply to this project, all the timer out put of IC 555 remain in OFF state. When we push the switch “S” of the first stage timer, the first timer becomes ON. Then the pulse released from pin no. 3 of first stage IC is fed to pin no. 2 of second IC and so on. Finally the output of last IC activites the first IC. The cycle continues in this way.
The switch connected to first timer need not be pressed again and again. Once it is pressed, the circuit is ON and the sequential display continous as long as the main power is ON. To make the project more attractive, you can fit another parallel row of multicoloured LED. This project works on 12 DC.
PRECAUTIONS WHILE ASSEMBLING THE PROJECT:-
- Check all the component as per the circuit specification.
- Use IC for mounting IC.
- Pay attention to negative and positive terminal of capacitors.
- Check Dry soldering and short circuit in the board after soldering.
